A.M. Look 1/15/13

Yen Futures…113.45 (app 88.14 USD/JPY) is the first minor resistance.
EUR/JPY…stops are below 117.59. 116.85 should be a level for a bounce the first time down.

AUD/JPY…put in a new high by 2 ticks last night and is now in the process of putting in
an ORL day if it closes below 93.94. 92.89 can bounce the first time down.

CAD/JPY…double topped! 89.59 is the first support level.

USD/SEK…the Krona double topped against the Dollar. This is another currency in re-trace mode.

Platinum…2 years running this has been the big mover in the metals the first couple weeks of the new year. Look for this rally to abate just over 1700 with a Risk Off Board.

General Comments…

Short term players should let the market set up for a bit today before rushing in.

The 30 yr. Futures have been the better indicator on the spread vs the Spu’s.
We are still patiently waiting for the 147 handle in the 30 to decide whether we try another short.

The Yen Crosses have had monster moves over the past couple of months. Today’s chart patterns are the first indication
that this could be abating. A Risk Off board ( Equity weakness) can trigger further profit taking.
