Gold has hit targets on a mid-week extreme. I’d expect some back and fill before Friday if the Indices can stabilize. Right now that’s an “if”.
I’ve repeated my safe names for Long only guys ad nausea.
There are only a few names to be long and i would only look at them on weakness,
not strength.
XLU…is pricey and has put in a new all time high by 1 tick.
Caution is advised with a close below 52.48.
Monitor the price action late day for a breakdown in the Utilities.
Investors will either pitch everything or rotate into riskier assets.
Asia & Europe have been all risk off.
It will be another very late day trade to see who wins the chart painting contest.
VIX...volatility is not going away. Those of you who bought portfolio insurance on
Friday’s close should leave the breakeven stop alone. At this point it’s cost free insurance.
