Platinum has been in a $100 trading range since the end of last qtr.

This same range has mirrored the Equity indices. We are presently trading at the top of that range. Same with the equities.

Although Platinum is $70 higher on the qtr the equity indices are virtually unchanged.

here, however it has been a good indicator of market tone for the equities.
