A.M. look 5/15/23

The best pitch we’ve seen all month was Kansas City Wheat, which just ran the monthly ORH buy stops.

Indices and Bonds remain a range bound trading affair.

I’d look for this to continue into month end.

I’ve been seeing conflicting reports on the Turkish election.
No one has ben speaking about the potential ramifications of this election.

The implications are huge for Russia and the Middle East if the opposition forces a runoff
and wins.

It can have a big effect on commodity prices and raise tensions on Black Sea shipping if Turkey
turns its back on Russia and towards Nato.

A runoff would line up with month end and the U.S. debt limit raising volatility.

Risk spreads are positive.

Patiently waiting.

Leaving @ the Chicago opening through London’s close for appointments.
